Hudson River Drive

So let's go back to November. Let's go back to ride lomos! At the time I took these, I had realized that I take too many shots on my rides and they all basically looked the same. But this was a late season ride, and all the Autumn colors had fallen, and I decided to take Bebe with me, and to be disciplined about not shooting the same thing over and over again. I did limit myself to shooting only two frames on that ride (I think I was trying to limit myself to one). These two are different enough, aren't they?

November 28, 2005 - There's a boat in this shot that I didn't think would turn up with the fisheye, but it's sort of there if you click and enlarge it. Yip...ee.

This is the low-point of the Hudson River Drive. The physical low-point, right at water's edge. I always want to stop here, but I usually don't. Across the river, there is the bridge that connects Manhattan to the Bronx, meaning that's the entrance of the Harlem River.

iTunes shuffled soundtrack:
1. Sunspots (Modest Mouse)
2. Rael (The Who)
3. This World Over (XTC)
4. Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy) (John Lennon)
5. Runner (Bakufu Slump)
6. XIY (Pinback)
7. Bug (50 Foot Wave)
8. Start (Peter Gabriel)
9. Boss is Always Bossing (Rebecca)
10. Love's Recovery (Indigo Girls)
