Out my door, I usually take this alley next to my building to the Jingmei Bridge. Taking the road, I would be going against traffic, and the motor-scooter drivers in Taipei are reincarnations of the evil flying monkeys from "The Wizard of Oz". It's only a short way, but the evil flying monkeys on wheels makes it pretty much impossible.
